Delete Your
Account
You can delete your Rovify account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it — directly in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

In the app
Open the Rovify app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm. This disables your account immediately and starts permanent deletion of your personal data.
If you no longer have the app installed
Email rovifyinc@gmail.com from (or naming) your account email, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we erase the personal data the app holds about you, including:
- Account and profile — your name, email, password, chosen persona, profile details (favourite club, position, sport, country, organisation), and your Rovify user identifier.
- Content you created — profile picture, moments, athlete highlights, and other photos/videos you uploaded; captions, notes, watchlist entries, and saved events.
- Messages and connections — chat messages and introduction requests you sent, and your social-graph connections.
- Device data — your push notification token (APNs/FCM), so you stop receiving notifications.
- Diagnostics — any crash/performance data tied to your account, where collected (this is retained only on a short rolling basis regardless).
What we are required to keep
We retain only what we are legally required to keep — for example, transaction and purchase records needed for tax or accounting — for the period required by law. These records are kept for compliance only and are not used to re-identify you for any other purpose. Card details are never stored by Rovify; payments are handled on our payment provider’s secure page.
